Ancient Homily on Holy Saturday

Fr. Robert: I am a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield in Massachusetts, and currently Associate Director of the Newman Center at UMass Amherst. I studied at two campuses of the University of Massachusetts prior to priestly formation at St. John's Seminary in Brighon, Massachusetts. I hold degrees as a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in history (UMass Boston) and a Master of Arts in history (UMass Amherst), as well as a Bachelor of Philosophy in pre-theology and a Master of Divinity (St. John's Seminary). I am a convert to the Catholic Christian Faith, having been brought up in a Protestant congregation. My outlook is generally traditional.
